With a long history (originally built in the 1960s) Rae's has seen Byron Bay's transformation from a sleepy beachside town into a buzzing holiday hotspot. We love the location so much that we also chose it to be the backdrop for our first ever campaign shoot. Luxe Accommodation
There are two Penthouses and five Suites to choose from at Rae's. We stayed in Penthouse 1 and can't recommend it enough. The hotel underwent a stunning refurbishment in 2017 so if you haven't visited in a while it's the perfect excuse to treat yourself to a return (or first time) stay.
Vibrant Dining
Whether you choose to dine in-room or at the elegant al fresco restaurant, you can't beat the dining at Rae's. Diners will be treated to a vibrant and fresh menu showcasing local ingredients. Rae's Dining Room is open for lunch and dinner, with bookings essential.

Idyllic Location
Tucked away on the Cape Byron Headland, Rae's has prime position on Wategos Beach - a favourite local surfing spot. It's also in walking distance to Cape Byron Lighthouse - situated on the most easterly point of mainland Australia and home to some spectacular sunrise views.
