Designing Our First Ever Navy Print

We’re so excited to share a sneak peek of our newest collection. The Villefranche Collection is inspired by the charm of one of the world’s most stunning seaside villages. We once again collaborated with Heather Hawkins of Hawk Creative to illustrate our new Chic Botanical print. Featuring delicate hand-illustrated orchids against a navy background, this new print will be available in the Original Sexie Rashie, Rashie Top, and Cap Sleeve styles. Designing Our New Chic Botanical Navy Print

Step 1. Finding the perfect floral inspiration

Kicking off the design process for each new print begins with a trip to the flower markets. They are the perfect place to find inspiration for our floral prints. Walking away with bunches of blooms is also a major perk of the job!

Step 2. Detailed Watercolour Hand Illustration

After selecting the floral inspiration for our new season prints, the amazing Heather Hawkins then illustrates the florals in her signature watercolour style.

Step 3. Final print placement

From there we carefully consider the placement of each floral illustration to create a beautiful printed swimsuit.

Et voila! A print is born!
