Mama & Me: Heather and Ava

And who better to model the collection than the very woman who illustrated it, Heather Hawkins, and her daughter? We were so grateful to have Heather and Ava on the set of our latest campaign shoot for UNE PIECE petit. Read on to get to know this beautiful mother-daughter duo as part of our Mama & Me Series.

In a few short words, how would you describe your daughter? Ava is deeply sensitive, kind and a creative soul.
What is your favourite way to spend time together? Ava and I love getting out and about in nature –spending the day at the beach or going for a bike ride together.
How has becoming a mother changed you for the better? Becoming a mother has made me rethink my priorities–things that I thought were important before don’t even matter now!
What is the one piece of advice that you would pass onto your children to live a happy and healthy life? Don’t let pressures from others make your choices for you. Find yourself... be yourself and don’t jump into life too fast. You only live once so live, have fun, see the world and experience all the things you want.
What do you think of the UNE PIECE brand and its vision to empower and build confidence in women? I’ve always been drawn to UNE PIECE because of their vision of empowering and supporting women. It’s so satisfying to work with other like-minded business women, and to know that what you’re doing isn’t just for material products, there is a greater purpose.
